We all know that Queen Letizia, 45, wife of King Felipe VI, and Queen of Spain who as such, holds the style of Majesty has impeccable style. But would you be surprised if we tell you that one of her favorite fashion staples recently are the black leggings? Yes, that’s right, and she wears them like only a royal would.
The mother-of-two, and a Special Ambassador for Nutrition for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization stepped out looking stunning in a casual but smart get up with a rock and roll edge look.
The brunette royal who is a former journalist at the time of her marriage to Prince Felipe, was appointed to the Grand Cross of the Royal and Distinguished Order of Charles III as dame on 21 May 2004. Since then, Letizia has received different appointments and decorations by foreign states and other Spanish honors; and today we are rounding up one of her best looks featuring black leggings outfit.
Effortless Elegance
The Spain queen consort, looked lovely in a pair of cute black leggings while attending the Fifth Educational Congress on Rare Diseases in Villanueva de la Canada, north of Madrid. Letizia showed us that dressing down can still look chic and sophisticated.
Always perfectly hairstyled, dosed with the right amount of accessories and wearing a flawless makeup to complete her look, she opted for a monochrome ensemble as she greeted crowds outside the event.
Showing off a glimpse of her tanned arms Letizia teamed the simple leggings with a white sleeveless blazer waistcoat adorned with black statement buttons completing the look with a crossbody bag and a pair of backless loafers.

A Touch of Pink
Queen Letizia rarely puts a fashion foot wrong, and for the inauguration of the 13th International Seminar of Language and Journalism in Spain she looked flawless in her skin-tight pants combined with a pretty magenta coat made of a brocade material with a small geometric print.
She showed she is a fan of monotone colors in this head to toe black outfit, but she cheered the whole look up by adding a pop of color too. The queen polished up her plain black leggings with classy pieces, including black cashmere sweater, and timeless black pumps. It seems like leggings are the new royal staple approved to be worn outside the gym after all.

Queen Letizia of Spain headed at AEEPP 2013 Awards at the Casa de la Moneda where she adjusted her all black leggings style to her busy schedule - here combining slim fitting black leather pants with off white top. The queen knew how to add the perfect amount of color to this look. For this special occasion, she chose red stilettos which are the ideal addition to the black legging pants, and a perfectly tailored blazer in black color.
